I found Maya Hayuk's work when I was looking at Banksy's. She is a Brooklyn-based artist who uses geometry and vibrant colors. While the pattern looks repetitive at first look, it is made with different colors that pull the viewer in. When I look further in, I see smaller patterns and irregularities within the bigger piece. Her work is visually appealing, but unlike others, I can't stop trying to find other shapes or patterns in it. Although so many neon colors should be unattractive and blinding, the piece itself pulls the viewer in.
